 Pediatric Therapy Network to Add User Extranet BWE will develop a custom user extranet for Pediatric Therapy Network. An "extranet" designates a "private part" of a website, where specific "registered users" can navigate and share information with other members of the group after they have entered their credentials (user name and password) via a "login page". Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) wants to improve communication between some users; but, the content is not intended for the general public. The extranet will allow sharing of specific content and events using a calendar-style format. Using a web-based control panel, PTN administrators can control access to the extranet by adding users and posting content and events that only extranet users can view. Extranet users have the ability to view events and content added via the Content Manager. Additionally they can view and edit their profile or request an password reminder to gain access, should they forget it. These features make managing the extranet simple for PTN while allowing access to important information for specific users. BWE develops custom web-based applications, including extranets, as well as web design and hosting services. Pediatric Therapy Network is a non-profit children's therapy center created by a group of therapists, parents and other professionals dedicated to providing quality services for children with special needs. The office is located in Torrance, CA and their web site, pediatrictherapynetwork.org, was recently re-designed by BWE to include easy-to-use features for managing content, products, and online orders.
