 Pediatric Therapy Network to Re-design Web Site BWE will re-design the look of the Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) site. The work scope includes a content manager, product catalog, shopping cart, and e-commerce solution. The project includes the following graphical design and functional features:
The content manager gives PTN the ability to add and edit web site content. The content manager includes an image and file upload feature so that all photos and documents upload directly to the web server without special software or the help a web developer or web host. Additionally, the content manager creates the necessary navigational sub-menus for new pages so that visitors can find them. You may easily change menu names at any time. The News Database allows PTN to maintain a web based newsletter on their website while the events database will show upcoming events. Pediatric Therapy Network offers a variety of publications, video and music for both the parent of children with special needs and the therapy professional. There were limits with their current product catalog because they are using a third-party "out-of-the box" e-commerce solution. BWE's product catalog will maximize natural search engine ranking for their products and give greater control on product presentation. The integrated order management interface means all of the information about their products and orders are in one easy-to-use location. The project started on June 10, 2008 and the new site will launch toward the end of July. Pediatric Therapy Network will use BWE's managed hosting solution and search engine optimization services once the site launches. Pediatric Therapy Network is a non-profit children's therapy center created by a group of therapists, parents and other professionals dedicated to providing quality services for children with special needs. The office is located in Torrance, CA and their web domain is pediatrictherapynetwork.org.
